70 Challenger RT Project for sale on ebay

It looks like projects are coming out of the wood work these days.

70 RT Challenger no engine or trans. Was a 440 U code automatic car.
Looks like it needs lot of work including frame rail work.
Appears to have a 4 speed hump installed!
Already bid to over 5k Intact data and dash plate.
What will this finally go for?

A member here has a bunch of 70 440 engines and blocks for sale at reasonable prices.
Could put this car with an engine for a reasonable price! With a 9/29 sbd, he has a July and September engines for sale.

"Axle package car?" Sorry, but I don't see any axle package codes on the FT. I think it was originally a standard 3:23 axle out back on this one. Still a cool U-code Chally none the less.

This has sold 3 times and people have backed out. There must be something that we don't see in the pics.

I called and talked to the guy who owns the white 1971 Challenger RT project car on ebay right now who ended up being really good friends with the guy who owns this car. What he told me is that the car was in very poor condition and would need almost everything including front frame rails and a firewall. Although I have not verified that with the owner of this car. Also if anyone was interested the 1971 Challenger needs almost every panel replaced including quarters, rear frame rails, trunk floor, front floor pans, doors, fenders, hood, front and rear valences it would be a really cool car though once done.

The car is now a little over 7K with the reserve met.
Should be interesting to see if the sale consummates?

Yea, seems like the listing could be a little more forthcoming if the frame rail/fire wall stuff is true like CBMOPARMAN says.
