You may need to buy a whole fender, for that piece. A new reproduction fender from AMD is around $500. When fenders get smashed up, and unusable, it's usually the front that gets ruined. But you may get lucky and find a used one at an affordable price. Shipping from AMD is another $300 on top of that. So unless you can pick up a used fender (once found) you may need to factor in shipping costs. This is one reason swap meets are so good for car parts.

Did it rust because the inner fender piece is missing? Road water thrown forward by the tire? If so, you may need to look at that, too.

That must be why I can find the part for a '71 but not '70. I may just leave it. My intention is to just get it driveable. It has been sitting for about 6 or 7 years in storage. Hopefully I can get to it this summer. All I've been doing is buying parts and turning the engine over once in a while.

If it still holds the headlight decently, defer it until later, put it on your TODO list. and be on the lookout for a fender you can acquire without too much damage to your wallet. Someone may still yet respond, here. Maybe even months from now.

It takes years for me to find some parts at the right price and/or condition. Every few months on ebay, I find another piece to the restoration puzzle-game.
