Does anyone know, how many yellow (Y3) Challenger convertibles has been made in '71 ?
I found out, that mine was yellow from factory.

What engine did your car have from the factory? There's a guy named Ola that runs an E body convertible registry. You should go about registering yours if you haven't already at which point you get a copy of all the registered vehicles. There are no records left to tell us how many were built of each color originally but his registry is very detailed and interesting.

here's a link.

I tried to email him a few weeks ago and still haven't heard back....

Be patient, I think he's preoccupied with life at the moment. He will get back with you but it may take some time.

I have 1. Really not crazy about the color. 318-auto-p/s-p/b-p/top. GY3 jh27gib
Non Rallye Instrument cluster but has clock-no tach-120 speedo.
Automatic- console on floor.
Had white interior-looks like someone sprayed black.
Hounds tooth interior-not sure thats correct-found hardtop back seat in it. Have since scored Convert. back frame.

A couple of buddies and myself did this car a couple of years ago and although not my favorite color it did grow on me after a while. It was hard to look at in the sun without sunglasses!
