Does anybody know the value of BS 71cuda 340 4 spd? It is gf7 color chestnut brown interior, disc/ power brakes, power steering and rallye guages. Engine numbers are matching, trans, diff also. I have replace body panels, qharters and floors. Also i'm going to put a shaker on it. it is road lamp car also. Everything that i check is date coded on most parts on car, carb, intake, wiper motor, etc...Also have build sheet from under seat. Just curious on value. Jamming car and sealer priming now....Happy Thanksgiving to all!!

If you're doing it for originality and-or resale[sounds like you care about #'s and date-codes]...the shaker isn't something I'd do.

i'm keeping for sure, just curious on value. the shaker is a personal thing... just love the look and never had a shaker car. Still up in the air, still early in the build.

I'm adding the rallye twin buldge hood and go wing on mine but keeping the original parts separate and will be painting those as well in case I ever sell. For personal taste just add the stuff I want meanwhile but keep everything else original also. Mine is a 1970 gran coupe 4barrel 383. But I was looking at 70 and 71 barracudas and cuda for about a year and a half on Craigslist and eBay. They sell for a ton on eBay. If you are talking about fully restored value I think it'd probably be in the $35K range. As I have seen many 340 71 cuda ago for about $33K or around there. But don't take that for a fact. Just my opinion and estimate. Could possibly be a bit higher into the 40K range. Depends on the buyer really and the market for them at the time.

your building it for yourself makes it priceless.
the passer by at the gas station would offer you pennies for it hoping to get it on the auction site as quick as possible to make the quick flip buck.
the serious buyer at Carlisle would offer 30- 40 k for it.

A complete Shaker setup is an expensive upgrade but adds a ton of coolness to any 'Cuda. Original or not a shaker will ADD to the value of your car.
