Nice project car right there! I'm finding that the projects aren't moving to fast these days, I seem to be one of a few that are buying them and I need to stop! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for mention DetMatt1
I hate to see this go i have had it a long time but just don't have the time to work on it. I also know how hard it is to find a good colored FACTORY Billboard 340 4-speed car and then have this many options. Many people do not realize that the 340 was an option in 71 and that there where very few of these cars that had billboards from the factory not to mention how hard it is to find a 4-speed one that did. I am sure there is a collector out there for this one!

Yes i did know that but as i said there where only a few over 200 total to my knowledge that had the billboard stripes and then how many of those 200 where 340 4-speeds with this color and options. Puts it in the double digits for sure or maybe less

Parts that were new and ran for a short time:
Two 235-60 X 15 inch Firestone Firehawk RWL Radials mounted on used 15 X 6 1/2 Rally wheels, Two 275-60 X 15 inch same brand tires mounted on 15 X 8 inch Rally wheels, new trim rings, engine harness and electronic ignition, new HURST shifter, mechanism, rods, and levers, redone original alternator, black carpet that was new and was installed in a 70 Cuda for awhile, clutch and pressure plate (believed to be a center force).

Extra parts include:
Correct 71 grille header panel, 4-speed shifter hump with front console bracket, 1 extra set of nice used fender gills, nice N95 fuel line cover.

Additional parts included that are not pictured on the car:
Heater box, excellent dash speaker cover, antenna body and cable, wiper cowl screens, 3 nipple breather, correct numbered exhaust manifolds with heat shield, nice original chrome exhaust tips, nice original rear bumper guard fillers, nice original air cleaner, correct Carter Thermoquad 4bbl 340 4-speed carb, idle solenoid, correct gas cap and filler neck, shock plugs, drive shaft, park brake adjustment rod, hanger rod, rear cable connectors, one muffler shield and hanger (other one is still on the car), rear window lower two moldings.

Nice and rare parts already on the car:
Excellent original grille, nice original lower valance and bumper cores, correct 71 Hemi fan and torque clutch, radiator shroud, battery tray, 3-speed wiper motor, park lamp lenses, factory gull wing (painted semi-gloss black), 71 dated bumper jack with correct hook, 71-72 dated spare wheel with Polyglass G70 14 that holds air, complete hood latch and release handle, nice uncracked 3-spoke woodgrain sports steering wheel. Correct 71 intake manifold is installed on the 70 340 engine that is in the car.

Parts missing that I am aware of at this time:
Left lower dash filler, right A pillar trim, map light switch and black plastic housing.

Most of the car had one repaint but the stripes are still the factory billboard stripes. The correct 70-71 Rally dash is in excellent used condition, including the dash and accessory wiring harnesses. The road lamp switch, lamp assemblies, wiring harness, and relay are all intact. All the original heavy duty drums and suspension, including front and rear swaybars, and the 71 date coded K-frame are intact. It appears to be the original rear center carrier 489 case, large yoke, and 3.23 open. rear valance pan is original and is not rusted or bent, but the openings had a plate brazed over them previously. Body number on the top of the cowl matches the dash VIN, door jam build date sequence number, fender tags, and clear Pa title in my name. The partial section of the broadcast sheet that I have shows the billboard stripes D21 4-speed, and part of the production number that matches with the fender tag. The top center section of the radiator support had been changed many years ago, along with the hood, grille, and upper valance. There was no collision damage to the frame rails, inner fenders, lower core support, or rad support side panels. There was never any collision repair to the back of the car either. It is very straight and unhit. Firewall, cowl, and inner fenders have no rust holes. There is only one small pushing area on the driver's side where the shock tower is welded to the inner fender. The hinge and latch pillars are very solid. Right hinge pillar inside the car, at the bottom, will need a small repair. Under the back seat on the driver's side had a nice used section sad blasted and partially installed. It is fitted in and needs finished welding. There was a small professional repair done to the frame rail underneath that same area. There is and never was any other frame rust repair or straightening ever done, and it does not need any. The shift hump had a section cut out for an automatic at some time, but a nice original hump is included to repair it. The floor pans trunk pan, quarters, and front fenders have minimal rust holes, and could be repaired, rather than replaced (in my opinion). The inner and outer wheelhouses, and the quarter and trunk floor extensions are nice for originals. There are some large rust holes at the bottom corners of the back window glass and one at the bottom corner of the license plate opening. The glass is all OK, but the windshield has a wiper scar and the back glass has some scratches. I do have many other pics of the car, which are available to serious buyers only. Please PM me for more detailed information.

Amazing machine. Gonna be beautiful one day. The 71 has always been my number one dream car. But in my dreams it has the hemi. One day maybe I'll have the coin.
