It has come time to hook up my floor shifter and ive got some questions. Ive got a shift cable from the motorhome but its like 15 feet long so i dont think i can use it unless i could shorten it somehow. Do i need a return spring for the shift lever on the 727? It didnt come with one but i figure it would need one with a cable. Ill get pictures of the floor panel and the shifter im using up in a bit.

Looks like you have a B&M shifter there, but I can't tell which one. Fortunately, they have been using the same designs for years, and cables of different lengths are available. If you can figure out which model you have, installation instructions are available online. So it should be fairly easy to figure out what parts you will need to complete the job.
