727 swapped with A41 4 speed automatic trans shifter not locking in all 4 gears

Hi,
has anyone swapped their 727 3 speed for a A41 4 speed? if so did you have an issue swapping the shift gate and getting the shifter to lock in all 4 gears?

Are you trying to use the factory Mopar 3 speed console shifter ?

The Mopar trans has different spacing , all the gears but park are evenly spaced , park has a longer throw , most shifters don't accomodate this so you end up missing park or all the other gears are out of position , I know the Cheetah is designed correctly for Mopars
