73 cuda headliner?

ok, i got the car with nothing for a headliner.
What parts will i need ,how many bows?
i seen in a 71 there is a track with teeth on top for sail panel and 1 for the bottom.
does 73 have this? anything else?

The 73 should have 4 bows. The 73 will also have the top and bottom pieces for the sail panel. You also need the two little wires that connect the back bow to the rear of the roof.

I have a 74, it has 5 bows in it, no headliner, just the bows in place, is that unusual, guess just but a 5 bow headliner

'74 should be 4 bow - but the roof in mine (Cuda) also has accommodation for 5 bows - ie the holes are there to mount 5 bows but the middle one is not used.
I will be using only the bottom tack strip at the sail panel - though there is a top one in the sail panel area, if not installing separate hard sail panes I don't think you need the top strip. I believe the challenger headliner stretches down to the bottom but not 100% on that
You will also need clips
I got clips from Herbs though they are not on their web site
