73 door glass regulator on 70 challenger??

I know that 70 is one year only. But my question if does anybody run a 71-74 door glass regulator on 70 and how this may affect on the system function.

A 1970 manual window regulator won't work in a 1974 Challenger door because of the extra teeth on the regulator and a different inner steel stamping of non-1970 doors. There is a open area on top. the extra notch out area for room on the 70.

I think he is asking if the newer style regulator will work in a 1970 door. It should work fine. It doesn't work the other way. A 1970 piece doesn't work in the newer doors. If I remember correctly it is because of the steel beam added to the newer cars.

Yes that is my question if a 73 regulator will work fine on 70 doors

Yes I know I was pointing out the difference That I knew for sure. the accrual inner structure is different,mounting locations? But having less teeth it may work . Or it having less teeth may not have complete travel. If you find one to try you have only time to lose. Blue door is a 10 69 build date not sure of the primer one. 3rd is a 71 with a 11 71 build date. study and compare you might see a difference? Difference might be in the track and regulator.

I have this regulators that I removed from 73 1st pic
But also I have this other 2nd segulator with only one cut out that I am not sure if is for 70 because what I seen 70 have 2 cut outs.
