Challenger A66 convertible For Sale on ebay
looks really mint and is restored
Automatic on column w buckets, factory air, power windows, disc brakes and rim blow
Looks like a decent car and nicely equipped.
Owner started bidding at 52.9 K NO Bidders. I think price is high as a starting bid.
So far no takers. Someone added the RT badges on the car.

QUESTIONs ON THIS TAG

The order number begins with number O or letter O?
Doesn't that indicate an export or special order vehicle?
The first number should be 1 with the 6 digit order number, Yes?

Corrected the order number with the letter Q thanks to qaupman!

And I agree with Matt: would have been cool to have the interior in the original color! Burnt Orange

Regarding the mirrors: the tag indicates a LH remote racing mirror and a RH Manual Standard mirror. Can this be accurate?
Seems an odd combo.

The A66 I had for a while had R/T badges on it too that appeared to factory, if these cars could only talk. The mirror thing is odd...

No such thing as right hand standard mirrors for E-bodies I believe.

That's a "Q" as the first digit in the order #. I need to look up what that means...

Remote left and manual right mirrors were the gold standard until the mid 70's when Cordobas and the like got RH remotes.

With the A63 trim package, this car should have front valance moldings. (S.E. type rear finish panel, belt moldings were also part of the package.)

I thought it looked like a Q and my first thought was show car but the build date didn't jive. Nice work Quapman.

Both of these mirrors would have been options. For the chrome mirrors they are individually printed on the tag. For the painted you would get only one code or the other, G34 (single drivers remote) and G36 (package, single driver's remote, passenger side). IMHO

Great information quapman
So the car was either a:
Q***** Y28 PUBLIC RELATIONS
OR
Q***** Y22 CHRYSLER LEASE CAR/EXECUTIVE
That explains why this convertible was equipped with AC, power windows, adjustable seat, and all the chrome the car would take, along with the factory hood pins.
Must have looked stunning when new, especially with the burnt orange colors!

This A66 vert has a scheduled build date, just a little later then mine. (A06)
Would love to see the K frame number/date. Mine is an early October SBD with an October 20th K frame date.
(Date Code 2939 -1 = October 20, 1969 Shift 1)

Too many cars, not enough dollars!

Tony D'agostino had a page from Chrysler with VON codes as well, but I can't locate it right now. Too many computers, too few brain cells!
