All good. Oddly enough, I was able to buy 3 at the time, (covid garbage- just trying to get 1). Used one on my AAR, perfect. They are based on my comparing all three, and, they all look the same. Good luck my friend.I will pass I have told 70 and 71 are different
I believe your right sir. I think Merkamp saw the instructions that come with the package, and it does state "71". Why? I don't know. All 3 from different vendors are the same. Like I said earlier, I used one on my AAR, and it's made well, and works perfect. I have been messing with this stuff longer than I want to admit, and I have never seen an authentic 71 340 6 pack. So, I don't think you're missing anything!Merkamp listed he wants to buy a 70 AAR kickdown linkage setup?
The new in the package kickdown linkage setup you posted is for a 70 AAR.
He then mentions that 70 and 71 kickdown linkage is different.
What am I missing?
What does 71 linkage have to do with anything?
It's the Chinese! They've cornered the MOPAR repop market!I believe your right sir. I think Merkamp saw the instructions that come with the package, and it does state "71". Why? I don't know. You are right. I believe A&A manufacturers for all of them. Do they out source to China, hopefully not. But, I needed it, and it works. Could not find nos or good used. So, here we are. It's the Chinese! They've cornered the MOPAR repop market!
Pretty soon you will be able to buy a complete "Chinese" 70 Hemi Cuda; perhaps they will call it a "Chemi Cuda." Albeit the "quality" will akin to the functionality/performance/durability of an Apollo dirt bike!!!
