another 833 id post

Have a 833 that I am trying to decode. Has ball detent side cover, 27 inches OAL with dual shifter mounting pads. Raised pad has vin OA118280 and trans number PP8332944 0178. Does this decode as Oct 21 1974??

Judging by the vin, I'd say its a '70 and the 2944 is the date code which translates to Aug 19, 1970.
