For an E-Body.... Thoughts or what have you used? Good, Bad?

Not sure how there could be considering what the subframe connector does. Hard to imaging obtaining the level of rigidity required for tying the unibody "frame" together with bolt on connectors. Maybe there is some company that offers something but I'd be a little skeptical.

Weld-ins are the same as bolt-in from many manufacturers. It's just the cost of hardware that makes them different. My instinct is the holes drilled through the frame rails weaken the frame more than weld-ins do.

Bolt in connectors are fine for most applications. Are they the best way to go, no, but they won't fail and rip out your frame rails unless you are running ridiculous amounts of power, in which case you wouldn't be running bolt in sub-cons anyway.

The bolt in frame connectors are pretty much useless. They need to go through the torsion bars cross member and tie into the front frame rails to really be effective.

When I was younger didn't have a welder, I bolted in sub-frame connectors in B bodies that made significant improvements in rigidity. They improved things enough that doors that wouldn't open when using a bumper jack were able to open and close normally. Are they better than welded, no, but they will improve the car's rigidity to a degree that I wouldn't call them useless.

Many years ago I purchased a set of "Bolt-In" frame connectors from Mancini racing,
Had tabs added to bolt them at torque boxes and put steel sleeves inside the frame rails
so as not to crush.

Mine are chromoly tubular and go through the torsion bar cross mount and tie into the front frame rails. However, I also have a full cage as well.
