Mancini is out of stock on the 1405/1406 Edlebrocks but they are in stock at Summit . Mancini describes theirs as “specialty calibrated for the street Hemi” . I’m wondering if it’s just an “ as delivered “ jet change or would it be more substantial of a modification . Can anyone shed any light on this for me ?

There is no such thing as specialty calibrated. I am sure they are probably out of the box standard edelbrock carbs, just with there Mancini mark up. Besides every engine, every tune, every car is different. I used to run dual 1407 carbs on one of my other +.030 426 Hemi's. It ran great once all dialed in. Hemi's love CFM.
I currently run dual 1050 Dominators on a more radically built 528" Hemi street/strip driven.
