Hi I am wondering if anyone has pictures of 1971 Clutch pedals for a Challenger. I want to do an Automatic to manual swap and want to get the correct pedals. I have heard there are differences in the pedal design for different years. The picture I uploaded is suppose to be correct for 71 E body, are they correct or not?
Thanks for any responses

That looks right but to be honest I thought all E body pedals were the same (although the brake pedal looks slightly bent to the right, might just be the picture).

Since you are doing a swap, it really should not matter. Any/all Ebody pedal assemblies will work in your car (again, I didn't know and am not sure there was more than one).

I think the difference is 1970-71 have tapered pedal plates and the 1972-74 are square.

These are original 71 Challenger pedals. I removed the large spring, and it is hooked to a hydraulic clutch, but everything else is stock. The brake pedal arm has sharper bends than yours, the pads are tapered, and the reinforcement plate opening looks different. So are yours correct? I don’t think so, but will they work, probably.

After a number of hours of trying to adjust clutch peddle.sticking to floor. Replaced all common wear parts on z bar and greased,no luck.Started over, took every thing apart. cleaned and very lightly greased.Inspect Gaddle Brock for wear.I tack a washer in place to take up the slack.Used a floor jack to expand spring.installed and greased again, even the spring hook and pin. worked! take note there are 2 springs.
It's Gaddle Brock or Caddle Brock stamped on the mount. Manufacture? 11/70 build date.

Bat2rm the pic has B body pedals. They are longer than Ebody pedals, IIRC.

!970 thru '72 used the trapezoid shape pedals and pads, and the rectangular pedals and pads are correct for the '73 & '74 model years.
