Anyone Know What This Is ?

Not sure this is the right place to post this but it does have an electrical connector from harness plugged into it.
It`s mounted on back of engine block near distributor. Double blade connector w/ ports for small hoses.
Looks to me to be some kind of emissions thing. Not sure it`s needed at all.
On my 72 Challenger 318 auto / PS / PB / AC /Cali built.

It`s had a lot of views but no replies.
I found it in the TSM....it`s a solenoid vacuum valve.

NOS emission. It was required when built in California. And no it is not needed. You can have it there for an ornament.
