I've been out of the Mopar scene for a few years. Looking at this site makes me droll again. I have what I believe to be the original console mounted cassette deck out of my '71 convertible E body. It has the microphone with it but I was told it was not original because it has RCA on the front. I personally pulled this out of the car in the late '90's but since sold the car (stupid)! Can anyone tell me for sure if this is original or not? I was told that '71 was the 1st year for the cassette option. Thanks

That is not the Chrysler Dictaphone/Cassette player. It appears to be an aftermarket piece from the day.
