I have very little experience with column-shift front bench seat E-body cars. I have a question about the (front) retractable seat belts.

Can any one confirm if the front bench seat 1970 e-bodies came with retractable front (outer) seat belt tips? As I research this, data seems pretty limited. I have one colleague who "thinks" the bench seat cars never came with retractable seat belts, and as such, call for a non-retractable belt tip, just like the rear (outer) seat belt tips.

My ‘70 Challenger was built with column shift and a bench seat. It has retractable front belts and shoulder belts just like the bucket seats.

@Cuda Hunter it’s EB5/EW1

The bench seat equipped cars came with the same belts as bucket seat equipped cars did. However the bench seat also came with a set of belts that were designed for a person sitting between the driver and passenger. That set does not include a retractable belt, but two fixed in position belts. If you are needing that set, I have one, depending on the colour of the webbing. Let me know.
