body side moulding

has anyone seen or had a challenger with body side moulding the full length of the car. when I bought my 70 rt it had it but I've never seen it on any other. it was the same as the hood and trunk mold,had the little posts sticking out with the clips. gone now, just wondered if maybe a dealer might have done it just to dress it up.

If it had clip attachment posts it would have to had been a factory job as the dealer had no way install those posts.

I have seen some but it was a long time ago. I think it was on a 70-71? It went along the belt line.

I have 5 of the 6 pieces that came off of my 72. Fair shape.

Had a couple of 70's with it but it wasn't the same as the trunk moulding. It was more like a door guard moulding...

yes i believe so. any way to find out how many their were in 70 on an rt

Had a 70 Challenger 340 with that type of side molding. Took it off and filled all the dang holes. The later models used lugs instead of punching holes in the body panels....
