Hello. Newbie here. Just wondering which books are most recommended for e body restoration and specifically for rebuilding or and upgrading small block motors.

Thanks.

Books from my car library that I keep for reference:
- Get a factory manual, has lots of factory engine information
- Larry Shepard (old Mopar engine guru) How to Hot Rod Small-Block Mopar Engines and The Mopar Six Pack Engine Handbook, both with good information from HP Books

-Two more I have: How to Rebuild the Small-Block Mopar (William Burt) and Small Block Mopar Engines by Taylor and Hofer -HP Books.

-Next, an old Peterson reprint: Chrysler 273-318-340-360 Hot Rod engine articles - good information in simple format.

And finally: if you want to stroke the Mopar small block- How to Build Big Inch Mopar Small blocks by Jim Szilagyi

These will keep you plenty busy! Good Luck.
