Bucket seat hooks / latches question.

So the latches are actually in the frame of the seat. The hook mounts to the top of the bottom of the seat cushion frame.

I am missing these. I see Van’s has reproductions. My question is…. What type and size screw do these use? Or do they bolt in?

Are the extra plates in the package shims? For under the hook? Or for under the seat frame.

Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

Hoover's on ebay sells a kit that includes the bolts. The oval shims go under the metal loop / latch in the picture. Usually one per seat is sufficient but they give you two per just in case.

bolts are 1/4-20 x .92" if you want to find them separately.
