Hello All, I'm re-posting a question from Challenger440 back in 2012 about the Kelsey-Hayes single piston front disc brake calipers. There was no response to the question back then and I have the same question now!

"I'm looking for the darn positioner clips for the stock caliper. Any clues? I found some for $35 (!!!) but read I might not even need them....is that right? Seems like they are the only thing holding the pins in place".

An old article in Mopar Action Mag says they are not needed (unless you have a 100pt show car). Any truth to this? To me it looks like the "positioners" would keep your calipers/inboard brake pad from dragging on the rotor. If needed, in 2016 where can I purchase without breaking the bank? I've read that there are or were differences between 70-71 and 72-74.

Thank you,
Tirekickertoo

Long time since posted but here you go.
Not the expert on this put I own a 70 Challenger with the same disc brakes & just replaced one of the positioners 'cause 1 ear broke off and the positioner was rattling around. I would agree with you in that you should run these to keep the pads from dragging. I got a set of 4 even though I only needed 1 from RosevilleMoparts.com. Soooo if you need less than 4 I can sell them to you for a lot less than I paid.
