Does someone have an official weigh listing for the 70-71 E bodies cudas and challengers with diff engine combos etc..

Some nut on another site is trying to tell me and other a 340 cuda 340 weighs like 3800 lbs. On moparts they list the E bodies from 3100 up with a /6 and I recall hemi cars weighed about 3600. A 440 with AC maybe 3700.

need to get some specs and listings okease thanks!

I think my Cuda weighs about 3400... well at least that is what our scale in town list mine as, and i have AC and power vrakes with auto trans and bucket seats.

thanks!

Sorry, I really can't help with the official listings, but can say that NYS titles my '74 Barracuda at 3400#. That's a 318 car with a 904. And NYS tends to be a little on the high side because they charge by weight for registration.

When talking to a guy at Uhaul about it, they put it at something like 3300#. Just over the mark, they say, my Ramcharger can haul on a trailer.

Sorry to say, unofficial, but within ballpark. Definately not the 3800# this guy is telling you for a small block.

Sorry I cant realy help much either. But I did weigh my 340 Dart. It is a bench seat no option car. I had a full tank of gas and a full size steel rim and tire in the trunk and it was right at 3330 pounds. So I would say a Challenger would be 100-200 pounds more with the same options. So 3400-3500 sounds about right to me.
