As anyone with a N96 equipped Challenger knows, finding nice original shaker emblems is next to impossible.

Reproductions of the “440 SIXPACK” and “426 HEMI” three-pin tapered shaker emblems are plentiful now, although there are still some observable differences between OE and reproductions. The three-pin “340 Four Barrel”, “383 MAGNUM” and “440 MAGNUM” emblems are very rare and are not reproduced.

I recently came up with a technique to repaint “340 Four Barrel” and “440 SIXPACK” emblems that closely matches the factory original appearance. See attached pics for results.

Feel free to contact me if you would like to have either style emblem repainted. Though I’m focused on shaker emblems, the paint masks I have will also work with bulge hood emblems. Cost is $50 per set of two plus shipping.

Note: The original factory painting technique used for assembly line and early production NOS “440 SIXPACK” emblems differed from later-run NOS and current reproductions in that there was slight red overspray surrounding the “SIXPACK” letters. The newer emblems have very crisp masking lines between the black and the red. I can produce either style. I’ll post a side-by-side comparison showing the difference.

Part numbers that I can paint:

3577361 – “340 Four Barrel” (Shaker)

3443236 – “340 Four Barrel” (Bulge Hood)

3462491/2 – “440 SIXPACK” LH/RH (Shaker)

2998764 or 2998804 – “440 SIXPACK” (Bulge Hood)

Side-by-side comparison of the two styles of "440 SIXPACK" emblems. NOS example is clearly an early production example based on the style of packaging. I've seen multiple examples of this style on survivors. The last picture shows restored emblems in both styles, OE on top.
