My 70 has the Challenger on the front fenders but there are a set of holes below it just 2 about an " or so apart. What goes there? The car is a 70 small block car.
By small block do you mean 318 or 340? Probably a V8 emblem but my 340 car had R/T emblems that appeared to have always been there based on the paint around the holes and the condition of the original paint under the emblem.
my bad i don't recall seeing the emblem but now i have seen the picture i kind of remember them i did find it strange that a 340 in a barracuda was a BS and on a challenger it was a JH even on a T-A
The Dodge camp was late to the game with the 340 in the '70 Challenger. They weren't even planning on offering the Challenger with a 340 at all but when the literature was released for the Plymouth Cuda and the Dodge boys saw that they were offering the 340 in it the backpedaling began. The A66 340 performance package was introduced after the literature was released for the '70 model Challenger and was only available as an option package for the JH cars. The package included basically everything that the JS cars had except it had the potent 340 under the hood. The production numbers were lower than the R/T as well so it makes for quite a kool piece.
That was a good commercial i can remember a cuda ad in it a guy takes his mother in this car and called it a banana- cuda what i like about this forum is we all can learn something or remember foregottin bits of info that can get lost in time
