Challenger Ralley Hood underside pad???

Anyone know if the commercially available molded hood pads will fit over a 440 six pack with stock oval air cleaner in a 70 challenger with the ralley hood? DX Lean Diet Forskolin

I was wondering the same thing, I have never seen a ralley or shaker hood with the pad, are they out there?

Not sure this helps as I can only chime in on 70 Cuda's, my 70 440-6 had the pad with a rally hood from new.
The pad over time started to sag down a bit and would rub on the air cleaner.
I don't believe the pad came on shakers as there is no provision for the pad retaining clips as were used on the rally hood's.

I looked in my 70-71 parts book.
Hood silencer pad fits both Cuda and Challenger BS-JS all engines except with fresh air (shaker)

Here’s mine in a 70 challenger original 318 car but I put in the 440 six pack. Ordered off eBay about 100 bucks.

It came flat it is stiff. Don’t remember what brand I think it was so expensive because of the shipping of the big flat box.

Does anyone know if the R/T pads have a hole in them to account for taking the baffles out of the scoops...??? I saw a new one like that, just one hole off to the side about 4" around.

Here's one I was looking at...clips wouldn't be correct for '70...

The pad has provisions with precut serrations so that the hole can be removed if need be. That is for the REM style molded hood pads. I am not sure if the Repop brand of molded hood pads is formed in the same fashion, but I would think that they would be. And as you stated, the 70 and 71 models would use the metal clips.
