My cuda has the column shift and I want to switch it to a floor console. How hard is this to do ? how much should all the used parts cost?

It's not hard, but you need all the parts. Column, shifter assembly, trans lever, floor brackets for console. wiring for shifter light, console. Cost depends on condition but I'd think for good quality it's going to run in the $1500+ range.

Hi, The other issue here is that these cars have increased in value so much that you really want to keep them as original as possible in order to keep them sale-able for the best-highest price possible.

It won't affect the value of a 73 at all. The 70-71 are the ones that will always pull the $$. Just do it if you like it and save the old parts incase you do sell it down the road and the buyer wants to put it back to stock. It will just make it easier to resell, not necessarily more money.
