I want to do a compression test ton my 440 Six pack now with EFI! What numbers shoud I look for? The engine has been rebuilt and is prety well stock. Thanks!
The actual numbers can vary depending on your compression ratio, camshaft, and even your elevation. Assume you know to block the throttle wide open and then test each cylinder. Run your test and report the numbers for each cylinder here. What you are looking for is consistency across the test. A cylinder that is a few pounds different is not a big deal. One that is > 25 different than others is suspect. If possible, do the test after the engine is warm.I want to do a compression test ton my 440 Six pack now with EFI! What numbers shoud I look for?
