Cuda fender?

Are there two spot welds on the front fenders conecting to the inner fender on 74 cuda? Cant seem to get the front fender off.

As far as I know it shouldn't be. You should just be able to unbolt them. Can you post a picture of what your talking about?

No, car isnt at my house right now. It seemed like a spot weld back near where the hood hinge attaches to the inner fender, then another up close to the rad support.

There is a bolt back by the top door hinge that must be removed. Look up in the fender well or open the door and look through. You should be able to see it with a flashlight. It is a pia to get to.

It's not a glob of sealant that oozed out from the seam when the car was assembled? Sometimes they can look like a spot weld. The factory used a sealer on the fenders to keep water from entering the engine compartment from the tires and can make it difficult to get the fenders off.....and sometimes it oozed out of the seams when the fenders are installed.
