My dad is installing a dana 60 in his 1970 Cuda, back in the day he has re positioned the perches since it was from another vehicle. He has a new set that he want to weld to the rear end but he would like to know what the factory degree angle would be. Yes we know your supposed to install and measure, tach them check repeat.

We were wondering if anyone might know with the rear end level what the degree angle might be for the perches?

Thanks

depends on the suspension but with stock leafs @ stock height I would agree 2-3* nose down from the angle of the output yolk @ the trans

Just click on the link and completely read it first as it does not just say X amount of degrees but gives you diagrams, explanations and information on the why's and what's of driveline angles.
Good info to keep.

What he is looking for would be the factory location of the perches, Right now we have the axle housing bare.

With a level placed on the housing where the cover goes on what is the angle of the perches if that makes sense.
