I am putting new cut to length plug wires on my 440 and I was wondering what the ideal location of wire #1 would be? I know it can be anywhere, but I just want to know the spot that it looks/works best. My dads 383 is exactly opposite of mine so I am not sure. Thanks

The location you circled is a good choice as it puts spark plug wires 1, 5, & 7 toward the driver's side for those cylinders and most of the even numbers toward the passenger's side cylinders.
