do seats needs spacers ?

cant seem to get my seats in my 73 barracuda installed right . do i need a spacer under the seat frame ? if so what size ?

I pulled the carpet out of my car this November because it was old and dry rotted. When I removed the seats, I noticed that the studs had washers under them to serve as shims or spacers and I wondered the same thing. I'll be watching this post to see it it's so.

Same here on my 72 Challenger. Drivers side had three shims on each or the mounting studs on the console side.
