Are you still looking for a drag car? I have a 70 cuda that was originally a 383 stick shift car. It's been a drag car off and on since 1974, but has been covered up for the last 8 yrs. It will run around 10.40's. It's certainly capable of low 10's or high 9's without nitrous or a blower.
The car has a 440 that makes around 650HP, 727 with manual valve body and reverse pattern shift, Dana 60 w/4.88 & spool, 4-link, coil over rear shocks, fiberglass hood, trunk lid, bumpers, MSD ignition, auto meter w/ playback, air shifter, full cage, etc. Basically everything a good bracket car needs, but with a few mod's, this could be a really nice pro street car. Let me know if you are interested.
