All,
Running a 318 with an aggressive cam, EB 650 cfm performer 4bbl and currently 360 heads. Keep in mind I live at 8k feet with low oxygen.
So to date my engine (when it was originally played with) it currently has an EB Torker I Air Intake, I guess they only make the Torker II now and even that is VERY outdated. I am looking at a big upgrade here with the RPM Air Gap.
The listing says it only supports 318 running with 340/360 heads, I was actually planning to take my 360 heads off and replace with high performance 318 heads to increase compression. I have read time and time again the 360 heads are just too large to support a low RPM performance.
- Will this Air Intake work with high performance 318 heads?
- Should I switch the 360 heads to high performance 318 heads? Or 340 heads?
Keep in mind 8,000 feet we have 22% less O2 than sea level.
Thank you,
