As pictured is a replacement idle solenoid produced back in the late 80s by the Standard Ignition division of Standard Motor Parts. This is their standard plus ES6 which has been out of production for many years and is very hard to find. This is a direct replacement for the Delco Remy #1114429 & 1114420 found on all six pack cars and 70-71 426 hemi cars. 1969 A12 cars used the hex plunger, 1970-71 cars use the round plunger, which is included. As you can see, it is threaded to swap out. This unit is desirable as it is stronger than the current reproductions, which have been known to be weak in the plunging function.
