Another piece my vert doesn't currently have, I'd go for the $250 one if I was buying.
I agree, I think it's worth the extra 50 to buy it cleaned up!
I have a used factory unit myself that I plan to install on the back of my vert. Needs a real good cleaning.

Matt, I would go with aftermarket bars unless you want to stay original. The technology for suspensions wasn't the best in 71. My 71 is going to get as much modern bolt on parts as possible to help it in todays traffic. The originals will be boxed up and saved.

I would agree with you and that being said a rear bar is another thing way down on the priority list.
