Factory windage tray with Milodon Road race pan

I'm looking at putting a Milodon road race pan on the 340 I'm building for my Cuda. It will see road course track usage so I want to make sure the oil is under control in the pan and get a higher capacity pan. Can those that have used this pan comment on whether the stock windage tray fits with this pan?

Is there a better a better windage or crank scraper solution that can be recommended for the stock stroke small block?

Any experience with other brand road race type SBM oil pans? The Milodon pan is not cheap these days. I have a Kevco 301 currently that is little higher capacity but no baffles or extra side storage. The Kevco 201 looks interesting.

for road courses, a baffled pan may be pretty important. Years ago, a friend reported even his high capacity oil pan would run dry and the oil light come on, running through those long curves pulling some decent sideway Gs. I don't have the details on his type of pan, other than it was a 8 quart pan with windage tray. He described how the oil sloshes to the outside of the pan on those turns, and the pickup runs dry.

Yes, this is what I'm trying to avoid. I don't want to have to deal with an accumulator system, though they can be effective as well. Just want a good pan, but looking out for implementation issues.

The great thing about Mopar small blocks is the windage tray bolts to the special main cap bolts and not the oil pan bolts like a big block. I understand you want to avoid the accumulator system, but it sure does ensure you have plenty of oil when you need it. And is you're changing directions at high speeds on a road course, I'd go with the Milodon pan and the accumulator system!

I'm running that same pan on my 340 stroker, with arp main studs my stock 340 windage tray wouldn't work so I used milodons windage tray which should have gone all the way to the front of the engine in my opinion. I did set the stock 340 windage tray on while the studs were out and it should clear with plenty of room, here are some pics of my windage tray setup.
