Can any one tell me how many Plum Crazy 71 Barracuda's with a white vinyl top were produced? I've never seen any. I was scraping out the front and rear window channels and kept seeing bits of something white around the trim clips. I didn't know it was a vinyl top car but I confimed it with the build sheet. It also has the sport hood, sport mirrors, disc brakes, sway bar, and a white interior. It's a shame someone didn't check off the Hemi box too,

Thanks for the update

Bought this car 26 + years ago and we're finally getting to restore it. It was a hard decision to go original with the white top. I've had some people who look at the pics think that it's a convertible. Can't wait to see what it looks like with the body shop rollers off and some good looking wheels on it. Paint is the new for 2010 Plum Crazy Pearl which I think has a little more pop than the factory Plum that came on the car, thanks again, this is a great site.

RB Going In

This is a G vin car that is going to receive a 493 Stroker big block. I still have the original motor and transmission. I wanted to clear the air that this is not a Cuda. I would never want to try and fool anyone and hate it when people try to pass stuff off as being real. I have never had a big block before and I'm looking forward to see what this torque monster will do. The engine was run, cam broken in, carb and timing set which will make installing it in the car a whole lot less nerve racking. I'm working on the dash getting it ready for install so the front windshield can be put in. Thanks for the good comments that helps keep us going.

I dunno. But my first Mopar street race in 1986 was a FC7 ragtop, six barrel, 4sp, Dana car with a white top and black interior. I lost...lol. That car was sold restored for big coin back then. He got $11K for it.
