Belt moldings are at the top of the doors on the outside and are stainless.

Ok Thanks,
What about the hood molding?

Also is there such a thing as a Quad black 73 Cuda.

The hood moulding is along the back edge of the hood and there is small piece at each fender top edge between the hood moulding and the top of door moulding.

Can't answer your quad black question.

I don't believe cudas got the hood & fender moldings with M31, that seems to be more of a Dodge thing.

Black car, black top, black interior, black stripe? Sounds legit to me!

Hi
Well this M31 code happens to be on a fender tag from a black car, black top, black interior and black stripe, although I thought the black stripe would be indicated with the V6X code? (the only other code on this tag is M88)

I'm not saying M31 wouldn't be a legit code on the car. I'm saying that on a cuda, M31 is belt moldings only, no hood & fender moldings.

M88 on a Gran Coupe (or 72-4's) are the 3/4" wide moldings on the decklid and 1/4 extensions. On a 70-71 'cuda, they're the thin surround moldings on the taillight panel.
