I have been reading a 1970 challenger service manual and came across a paragraph regarding a floor gearshift column lock. It is a couple different rods and brackets that are in front of the shifter rods. I was wondering if this is the same on a 71 challenger 4 speed or if it 1970 only? I can't find anything that says it is for the 71.

70 only had an interlock with the trans linkage 4 spd or auto , in 71 they used a spring in the column

ah ok. Now here is my other question, I found a clutch start switch on my bench and don't know if it came from my 70 duster, or 71 challenger. Did the the 71 challenger have such a switch?
