Four Speed Console Lock Assembly FYI

Just got my Re-Pro 4 speed console from Year One. It did not come with Lock assembly on Door.
Ordered New Lock assembly- Just spent 1hr. Installing Lock / Latch assembly then aligning it all..
Glad I'M doing this on my work bench not contorted in my Car.

Had to disassemble both halves of the door to install sheet metal plate to lock assembly.
Spent more time aligning Door with Console. More time lining up lock striker to latch.

Job done- Am able to close gingerly knowing it's quirks.
Wont be opening and closing this to often-only when I get pulled over......

Just an FYI for anybody else looking to replace their console. Tony's Parts are the manufacturers of these parts and are much cheaper. Year One is great if you get a discount coupon.
