Hi all Im looking to decode fender tags again. I used to do this all the time and Im sure I did it in my sleep as well. I had a stroke a few years ago and lost a lot of memory.

I used to decode cars at shows, car lots and if someone sent the fender tag to me to decode I would do it then as well. I used to do this on a lot of differnt brands not just Mopars.

If you have a fender tag and you want it decoded please post here and pm me. Im doing this to build my memory up on the codes again and I just really liked doing it.

The years I can do right now are 1968-1974. I know when going through a lot of my books Im sure I will be able to decode the cars from 1967 and back.

Thanks everyone and I look forward to learning not only the codes but more about your car as well and helping you to know more about your car.

One more note if sending fender tag info and your worried I do not need the last part of the vin number.

Hey everyone just an up date. I have been getting a lot of fender tags from a lot of differnt boards. I know I have gotten a lot of tags from the B body side of this board.

I know Im missing some of the codes so I said well if Im going to do this right and re-learn everything the right way I need Galens books.

I put in an order for two of them today and I will be ordering two more later on.

I bought 66-68 and 69-71 production codes. I want to get the others I think 61-64, 72-75 and also the one on trucks.

I have an old 75 Dodge truck that I want to hot rod out but would like to know more about it. I know its a 3 on the tree with a slant six.

Thank you I will write that one down tomorrow and decode it for you. Im a bit under the weather this weekend so I have a few to do yet and I will get your Barracuda decoded. I think its a Barracuda or Cuda with a 340 and its a 72.

Im just looking at it no books in front of me and I see its an FE5 red car with is that a black top code.

I will get it decoded this is all from memory that Im doign right now and its helping going over all the codes.

The few that I have through a monkey wrench in the works as the books I have wont give me the correct codes so I have Galens books on the way.

They should be here next week and then I can do 66-71 cars. I cant wait :D keep them coming guys and I will get them done. I can tell its helping me to remember.

Hey thanks and good to hear you mom is back on her feet. I have not had a chance to decode more cars as of late. I have been kept busy with doctors appointments.
