Is there a steel fuel line that is made to go from the fuel pump to filter to carb already fabricated to fit , for a 383 w/mech pump and a AVS2 carb .
So is the smaller tube from the pump to filter and the larger tube filter to carb .

I just realized I ordered the Carter M4589 with push on lines .
Oops, sorry I miss spoke. I meant the other way around like 340challconvert said.
I guess the Carter for a 383 have push in hose connectors , can I take out the 5/16 hose lines and replace with 3/8 line without any reducing fittings , will the 3/8 hose fit on the Carter push on .Oops, sorry I miss spoke. I meant the other way around like 340challconvert said.
I'm thinking about do the lines myself , but never did that , I do wish I could do all the work myself, just don't have Graveyards tools .You can use that fuel pump. All are made in China these days unforntuately. I would run as much steel line as possible and use shirt rubber lines to connect everything up. Personally, I like to bend my own lines, but that's because I bent small tubing for a couple years.
