Does anyone know if somewhere out there a Plastic, Aluminum or ABS glovebox insert is made for a E body? I want to mount some things inside it and the cardboard is kind of flimsy

Thanks and HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I've never seen one. I looked for an ABS plastic one, about 3 years ago, because I wanted to mount some geeky equipment in there and cut openings so things were flush.

But given how the OEM box has flat sides, you could make, or have one made to your liking, by copying the design. You can glue sheets of ABS plastic together, or have a sheet metal (or aluminum) one bent to specification.

I just removed my dash last week and it has a plastic glove box. I’ll be at my shop in an hour and get some pictures of the part numbers on it.

Thanks, let me know what you come up
Fits pretty good. Not sure what it’s out of though. Looks like some cutting was needed to make it fit properly.

The E body has a wider glove box than this. I think it is out of a Cordoba. Not sure of the part number.
This always haunts me when I go to the attic. Reminds me of all the stuff I have to do. So I close the door and it will be there next year!
