Great paint with some rust, but oh man.. that engine

70 Challenger base model, 383 Auto, A/C car but none of it remains, great paint but has rust in the lower quarters, wheel lips, and fender bottoms. Floors and rails are good. Looks like a quick flip from a few years ago that is now having the rust come through.

It has a 572 Indy Hemi in it with a built 727 and Dana. I can only assume it has been driven hard, needs lots of patch panels, and the drive train is tired.

Whats it worth?

Tough to say. From your description, sounds like it needs a total restoration. Sounds like a can of worms to me.

Sounds like it could be a fun car. If it works I'd fix what absolutely needed it and enjoy the car.

Yea keep it on the driver side for 20-25 max....
