Might be going about this backward but I have all the hardware for my bucket seats and not really sure where the holes are to mount the latch. I can feel one hole in the frame but the latch takes two bolts. Any ideas how to tackle this without taking the cover off?

I can't tell if your picture is the right or left side. Here's my left seat bottom. If it's the left one that latch is on the wrong side, if it's the right side it's the wrong latch.

Thank you for the clarification. I have a passenger side seat currently, the latch is on the right. I didn't realize the latches were different so thank you. I'm having trouble finding the holes for the bolts. I'm guessing there are two. I can only feel one hole. I'll see if i can get a picture

Where my finger is there is only one hole in the frame. i'm guessing this is where the bolt goes for the latch but there is only one hole. I held a flashlight against the vinyl and tried to show a picture but there is only one hole. Shouldn't there be 2 for the latch in the frame?

Yup, there should be 2 threaded holes. I know it's dark in my picture but if you enlarge it you'll see both bolt heads. Try clicking on the picture a couple times, if that does work just download it.

I took it off my passenger side, this might help. The holes look be around 1 inch apart, give or take.

Thank you for the pictures. I think the problem I'm having is that I must be findign the wrong hole. I found this picture and the arrow is the hole that I can feel. Are you able to tell if this is correct? I'm thinking it must be somehwere else because it appears that there is only one hold on each side.

I think you’re right, in your reply #5 it looks like your finger is way to far in towards the middle. I put mine back together after those pictures. I should say that mine Is a Barracuda, whether that makes a difference I can’t say.

The holes are way over in the corner. I tried to take pictures with a measuring tape. Also I pressed down on the seat in the one photo to show the piece of metal the holes are in.
