Since you have to deal with the AC portion of the assembly, yes it makes it more difficult. Based on it's location, I'd say the older you are, the harder it is to get in the positions needed to drop it. Good luck, it's doable. Take your time. How difficult is it to put a new heater core in a 1974 Cuda 360 with AC I heard that the AC cars are more difficult ??
Think young. You'll only feel it latter.Since you have to deal with the AC portion of the assembly, yes it makes it more difficult. Based on it's location, I'd say the older you are, the harder it is to get in the positions needed to drop it. Good luck, it's doable. Take your time.
I just finished installing one in my '73 challenger with AC. I removed the dash then the heater/AC box. I'm 71 it took a little work, but worth it. I also bought a insulation kit from" Detroit Muscle Technolgies'. Well worth the money. How difficult is it to put a new heater core in a 1974 Cuda 360 with AC I heard that the AC cars are more difficult ??
