Heater hose

How much fluid will come out if I undo these 2 hoses to replace them or do i have to drain the radiator.

A week ago I just nipped the end off of one hose. It was weeping a little. The antifreeze was just barley above the core. About a cup came out. That was a 340.

i find it;s always better to drain the rad than to clean up the mess
