Hello all. Thank you for the add. I am assembling a 70 Challenger 426 hemi car. I didn't take it apart. Can anyone tell me if there is a gasket (doughnut) between the stock exhaust manifold and H pipe? I have looked on line and searched threads to no avail. Thanks in advance!

I can’t remember, it’s been so long since I taken mine apart.

I think the taper in the head pipe is suppose to seal in the cone of the exhaust manifold with no gasket, but I could be thinking 384/440.

That’s what I was thinking as well. I’ve had other cars where that was the case but wanted to make sure. Thank you.
