Hello.

I have a 440 stroker 512 with Trick Flow heads and intake with a Holley Sniper x Flow and this air cleaner dou to limted space

K&N 66-3110 - K&N X-Stream Airflow Assemblies.

Anny of you have a solution to get one with high flow of air.
What is your setup ? Dual plane or single plane intake?
Flat stock hood or dual scoop hood?
Spacer added for carb?
I installed a stock 4 barrel intake manifold and a stock low performance single snorkel 4 barrel air cleaner I found at a swap meet. My problem was I was struggling to get an air cleaner to fit under the hood so in this case on the underside of the air cleaner I drilled holes to increase air flow - the single snorkel air cleaner opening was pretty small, but it sat low on the engine.
This fits (barely) under the flat hood so I will be adding a dual scoop hood to increase space for the air cleaner in the future.

This of course is a 360 small block, but performance is pretty good. Mid 13.50's in the quarter (so flow still seems adequate).
Not sure if that helps, but maybe it gives some ideas on options...

I've got a 440 stroker as well, running a Street Dominator intake with a 1 inch Wilson Manifolds spacer and an 850 double pumper. I'm using a Summit racing drop base filter set up, it just clears. Here's an older pic (the Holley heat shield is gone now). Summit Racing
